Hi everybody, I'm Paul.
A lot of people tell me that I'm a know-it-all.
I say, "Thank you. Thank you so much." There is no nicer compliment. At least "in my opinion".
Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a 10 year old conure. Not a bird, mind you. I'm afraid of birds. I have a very funny sense of humor, at least "in my opinion".
I have a brother Jake, he's very brave and a sister Molly. I like to paste colorforms on her but she complains that they stick to her fur. She's a baby. Oh and I have something called a fish in my indoor swimming pool.
I call her Hidey, because she swims away from me whenever she sees me coming with my fishing pole.
I am home schooled by a lovely lady named Mrs. Donohue. She has developed a twitch as she's grown older. That's what I've noticed in the 6 years that she has been coming to teach me.
My best friend is a very patient man by the name of Ted. In his spare time, he drives a taxi but most of the time he hangs out with me and takes me everywhere. Our favorite person to visit is Martha. She lives in Bedford. I never really met Martha, but I've checked in on her chickens and horses from time to time, until I was asked to leave by a ranch hand because I was eating the carrots. Oh, and evidently I upset her dog Paw Paw because I tried to French Braid his fur. Geez.
Consuella is very nice. I think she's called the Keeper of the House. She makes Ted and I tea and phones when we visit. Ted thinks they're scones, but that's not what she said. At least, "in my opinion".
Sometimes when Ted is busy in his taxi, I ride on the plow with Kevin. He is sooo nice. He makes me wear a hard hat but he lets me ride on his shoulder. But that's another story. I have to go now. Ted has to get home to his lovely wife Daisy. . . coming Teddy!
